職務内容／Job duties 募集の背景： データドリブンでの創薬研究加速を進める上で課題となっているデータのサイロ化を解消、社内外研究データを有効活用し価値最大化につなげる拡張性の高い研究デジタルIT基盤を構築するため About the Position: To accelerate data-driven drug discovery, we are working develop a scalable and flexible digital IT platform that can overcome the problem of data silos and maximize the value of our research data. We are seeking talented data engineers to join us in this challenge. 仕事内容： 創薬研究プロジェクト加速のため、現場研究者との議論を通じて研究データ・ナレッジ利活用における本質的・潜在的な課題やニーズを同定し、最新のデジタルIT技術を活用して解決に導く これらを実現するため、下記分野のいずれかを中心として、社内研究員や協力会社 (外注委託先IT会社等) と協働してデジタルIT基盤構築整備を行い、データ処理自動化や解析力を強化する ・抗体/低分子・中分子、薬効薬理/安全性（非臨床）、オミックスなど創薬研究における各種データベースのデザインや構築 ・データサイエンティスト専門家向けの大規模データ解析環境のデザインや構築 ・研究データの収集管理及び利活用の推進施策の立案と実行 ・上記を含む部門横断的なデジタルIT基盤の導入/構築における構想立案、要件定義、構築、運用管理及びそれらに係る外注委託先のマネジメント Description of work: Working closely with researchers, identify critical issues in the use of data and implement solutions using the latest digital IT technology. To achieve these goals, we will collaborate with in-house researchers and partner companies (outsourced IT companies, etc.) to develop a digital IT infrastructure, mainly in one of the following areas, to enhance data processing automation and analysis capabilities. ・Design and implement various databases for drug discovery research, including antibody, small/mid-size molecule, pharmacology, , omics and non-clinical safety. ・Design and implement a large-scale data analysis ecosystem for data scientists and bio/chem-informaticians. ・Implement and operate these cross-functional digital IT platforms and applications.  応募資格／Qualifications 求めるスキル・知識・能力 ・創薬研究者と議論するためのライフサイエンス領域における修士相当レベルの知識（必須） ・Python/Perl/Java/C/SQL等プログラミング言語(言語は問わない)を用いたシステムツール実装スキル(尚可) Preferred Knowledge and Skills: ・Experience in cross-functional project planning/management (including outsourcing). ・Application development skills using Python/Perl/Java/C/SQL or other programming languages (any language is a plus) 求める行動特性 ・創薬研究のプロセスやデータ解析に関心や好奇心を持ち、研究員との議論を通じた改善点や本質的な課題への取り組みに熱心であること ・課題解決に必要な関連技術の情報収集に前向きで、スキルアップに意欲的あること ・周囲や関係部署と友好的な協力関係を築きコミュニケーション、情報発信や提案に積極的であること Who You Are: You are eager to identify critical issues and areas for improvement through discussion with researchers.
