職務内容／Job duties 募集の背景： 革新的な新薬開発・データに基づく意思決定・方法論の先進化及び高度化への対応のための統計解析機能・データサイエンス機能の強化 Background of recruitment: Enhancing biostatistics and data science function to enable value maximization of innovative medicines highly strategic planning based on data driven decision 仕事内容 以下の経験や実績があるとなお可 ・レジストリ，電子カルテ等のデータを用いた臨床開発計画（CDP）立案に対する統計的・データサイエンス的側面からの助言 ・デジタルデバイスや画像・自然言語処理を用いた前処理・解析の実施 ・構造化/非構造化データに対する機械学習等による高度解析の実施 ・海外カウンターパートとのコミュニケーション Description of work： It is better if you have the following experience and achievements: ・ Provide statistical input to planning clinical development plan by statistical and data science point of view using data of registries and EHR ・ Data processing and analysis using digital devices, images, and natural language ・ Advanced analytics (i.e. machine learning) using structured/unstructured data ・ Communicate with biostatistician in Roche/Genentech  応募資格／Qualifications 求める経験： ・RやPythonを用いた解析業務経験を有する（5年以上） ・ICML、人工知能学会、統計関連学会連合大会など国内外でのデータサイエンス技術を用いた解析結果の発表採択経験、もしくはKaggle・SIGNATEなどのコンペティションでの実績を有する Desired experience： ・Minimum 5 years of experiences in business using R and Python ・Experience of publication in the international/domestic data science conference such as ICML, JSAI, Japanese Joint Statistical Meeting, etc., or superior achievement in Kaggle, SIGNATE or other competitions 求めるスキル・知識・能力： ・統計モデル構築（最新論文に基づくアルゴリズム実装可能） ・機械学習（構造化データ：高度な機械学習モデル構築可能，非構造化データ：代表的モデルを再現可能） ・機械学習・データサイエンス技術を用いた分析・可視化に対する知見・好奇心を持ち方法論を自律的に習得可能 ・英語によるビジネスコミュニケーションが可能 ・日本語によるビジネスコミュニケーションが可能 Desired skills/knowledge/abilities: ・Statistical model building (algorithm implementation based on the latest paper is possible) ・Machine learning (structured data: advanced machine learning model can be constructed, unstructured data: representative model can be reproduced) ・Knowledge, curiosity on analytics and visualization using machine learning or data science, and ability to learn methodology of those autonomously ・Ability to communicate in English ・Ability to communicate in Japanese 求める行動特性： ・チームで協業可能なコミュニケーション力を有する ・困難な課題に対しても関係者を巻き込みながら最善の解決策を導き出そうとする Desired competencies： ・Good collaborative skills and ability to work cross-functional team members ・You can try to come up with the best solution to a difficult problem involving the people concerned 求める資格等 ・理系大学の修士修了，もしくは同等の知識及び技術を有すると認められる ・R, Python等の統計解析用ソフトウェアのプログラミングスキルを有する。 Desired Qualification： ・Master degree in statistics or other related science fields or equivalent knowledge and skills ・Good skills of statistical programming languages, e.g. R, Python 職種の魅力： 患者さんから得られたデータを分析して新しい医薬品開発の達成に貢献することで、データ分析技術の社会への還元が感じられる職種です。ジェネンテックやロシュとともにグローバルな開発環境が構築されており，その中で豊富なパイプラインの臨床開発，最先端の技術を用いた臨床開発に携われます。製薬企業が扱う多くのデータに触れることができ、特に医療RWD・デジタルデバイス等の解析に携わることができます。 Position Features： This is a position where you can feel the return of data analysis technology to society by analyzing data obtained from patients and contributing to the achievement of new drug development. A global development environment has been built with Genentech and Roche, and we are involved in clinical development of abundant pipelines and clinical development using the latest technology.
