病理標本作製　高度技術者 / Expert technician for histopathological sample preparation

職務内容／Job duties 募集背景： 私たちプロダクトリサーチ部は、医薬品を適正かつ納得性高くご使用いただく際に医療現場で生じるニーズやギャップに対して、非臨床研究を通じてエビデンスを創出し、患者さんへ医薬品の価値最大化を目指す「非臨床育薬研究」を行っている部署です。 非臨床育薬研究では主に薬効・薬理研究により医薬品の機序解明や疾患・病態の解明などを行います。その際には、細胞の精緻な組織学的解析が必要であり、非常に重要なデータとなります。これに大きく貢献するのが病理解析によるアプローチであり、すなわち非臨床育薬研究において病理解析は無くてはならない必須の機能と考えています。 この度、非臨床育薬研究において病理機能をさらに強化するため、高品質の病理標本作製を行える高度専門技術者を募集することになりました。 仕事内容： 病理解剖、病理解剖補助、病理標本作製、HE染色、特殊染色、免疫染色、in situ hybridization (ISH)、組織透明化、空間トランスクリプトミックス用標本作製 職種の魅力： 高度な病理標本作製技術を製薬研究に生かすことができる。またこのプロセスを通じ、最新の病理評価手法の開発を経験できる。 ---- Background to Recruitment: Our Product Research Department is responsible for conducting non-clinical product research with the aim of maximizing the value of medicines for patients. Through non-clinical studies, we generate scientific evidence to address unmet needs and gaps that arise in real-world clinical practice when medicines are used appropriately and with confidence by healthcare professionals. In non-clinical product research, we primarily focus on pharmacology and efficacy studies to elucidate mechanisms of action of medicines, as well as the underlying mechanisms of diseases and pathophysiological conditions. In this process, precise and detailed histopathological analysis of tissues is essential and provides critically important data. Pathological analysis plays a central role in supporting this work, and we consider it an indispensable and core function in non-clinical translational research. To further strengthen our pathology capabilities in non-clinical product research, we are now seeking a highly specialized technical expert who can produce high-quality histopathological specimens. Description of Work: Gross necropsy, support for necropsy, tissue slide preparation, HE staining, special staining, immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization (ISH), tissue clearing, tissue preparation for spatial transcriptomics Position Features： Highly specialized histological technique will be able to apply for the activities of pharmacutical research. Through the process, it is possible to construct cutting-edge technologies.  応募資格／Qualifications 求める経験： ・10年以上の試験病理標本作製（げっ歯類） ・免疫染色、特殊染色およびISH技術（用手法、自動染色装置） 求めるスキル・知識・能力 ・病理標本作製全般の流れを俯瞰し、課題を見抜き、適正な標本作製室運営を維持する能力 ・標本作製に関する試験信頼性上のクリティカルポイントを理解し、運営に落とし込める能力 ・鏡検者のニーズを自ら把握し、それに合わせた品質の標本を提供できる知識・能力 求める行動特性： ・常に患者さんへの貢献を最優先に考え、科学に対して誠実である。 ・関係者とコミュニケーションをとって、良好な協業体制を構築する。 ・これまで経験や報告のないことに対しても、失敗を恐れず積極的に挑戦する。 求める資格： ・一定以上の英語力（目安：英語でコミュニケーションが取れるレベル、英語論文を適切に理解できるレベル） ・実験病理組織技術認定士があればなおよい(資格取得の後の維持状況は問わない) ---- Desired experience ・10 year or more experience in histopathological sample preparation for studies (rodent). ・Immunohistochemistry, special staining and ISH technique (both manual and automated stainer) Desired Skills/Knowledge/Abilities： ・The ability to oversee the histopathological specimen preparation workflow, to discern the critical point of that workflow, and to keep the appropriate lab work flow. ・The ability to understand the critical issue for the credible specimen preparation, and to keep that credible workflow. ・The ability to discern the needs of each pathologist, and to provide the specimen with appropriate quality. Desired Competencies: ・Always prioritize contributions to patients above all else, and maintain integrity in science. ・Communicate proactively with stakeholders to build strong and collaborative working relationships. ・Embrace challenges without fear of failure, even in areas where no prior experience or precedents exist.
