With major changes underway, including the adoption of IFRS 18 and the transition to a global ERP platform, we are looking for an experienced professional to play a central role in our IFRS closing and disclosure process and help drive this transformation alongside Roche and stakeholders across the business. You will start as a hands-on individual contributor leading day-to-day operations, with the opportunity to grow into either a people management role or a senior expert role. Description of work: [Financial Reporting & Disclosure] ・Lead the consolidated and standalone financial close under IFRS ・Prepare and review external disclosures, including quarterly earnings releases and the Annual Securities Report ・Own group reporting to Roche and manage the relationship with external auditors [Technical Accounting & Projects] ・Assess the accounting implications of significant transactions and advise business partners across the company ・Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and partner with the Tax team ・Contribute to global accounting and ERP initiatives in partnership with Roche Position Features: ■ Own the financial close and disclosure at one of Japan's leading pharmaceutical companies Move beyond an audit or advisory role: make the accounting calls yourself and take end-to-end ownership from close to disclosure. You will work on complex accounting topics unique to a research-driven pharmaceutical company. ■ Gain global experience as part of the Roche Group Work with globally harmonized standards, processes, and systems in regular dialogue with Roche's accounting and finance teams, including opportunities to collaborate directly with Roche Finance. ■ Build your career in management or as a technical expert Start as an individual contributor leading day-to-day work.
