職務内容／Job duties 募集背景： 当社の創製プロジェクトにおける競争優位性を確立するため、知財機能の強化を進めており、研究開発から事業戦略まで幅広く知財面から貢献できる人材を得たいと考えている。また、従来の特許業務に加え、生成AI等のデジタル技術を活用した業務変革を推進しており、この先進的な取り組みを共に加速していける新たな仲間を募集する。 Background to Recruitment: We are strengthening our IP function to establish a competitive advantage in our creation projects and wish to acquire talent who can contribute broadly from an IP perspective, from R&D to business strategy. In addition, we are promoting business transformation using digital technologies such as generative AI, and are looking for a new colleague to accelerate this advanced initiative with us. 職務内容： ・創薬および製薬に関する発明の発掘、出願、権利化、およびポートフォリオ管理 ・研究開発プロジェクトに対する特許クリアランス調査（FTO調査）および知財戦略の立案・実行 ・他社特許への対応（無効審判、異議申立等）、および自社特許権の活用と紛争の未然防止対応 ・契約業務や導入候補品のデューデリジェンスの知財面からの支援 ・生成AI等のデジタル技術を活用した知財業務の効率化・高度化（先行技術調査、出願書類作成支援、権利侵害リスク分析等）の推進 ・Rocheグループを含む国内外のパートナーとの連携 Description of Work: ・Invention discovery, filing, prosecution, and portfolio management for drug discovery and pharmaceutical manufacturing. ・Patent clearance searches (FTO searches) and planning/execution of IP strategies for R&D projects. ・Actions against third-party patents (e.g., invalidation trials, oppositions) and utilization of our own patent rights and proactive measures to prevent disputes. ・IP support for contract-related work and due diligence of in-licensing candidates. ・Promotion of efficiency and sophistication of IP operations using digital technologies such as generative AI (e.g., prior art searches, support for drafting patent applications, infringement risk analysis). ・Collaboration with domestic and international partners, including the Roche Group. 職種の魅力： ・最先端の創薬研究を知財の力で加速させ、革新的な医薬品の創出に直接的に貢献できる、社会的意義の大きな仕事です。 ・Rocheグループの一員としてグローバルな環境で活躍し、自身の専門性とキャリアを高める機会が豊富にあります。 ・研究開発から事業戦略まで、製薬企業のバリューチェーン全体を見渡せる幅広い経験を積むことが可能です。 Position Features： ・This is a highly meaningful role where you can directly contribute to the creation of innovative medicines by accelerating cutting-edge drug discovery research with the power of IP. ・As a member of the Roche Group, you will have abundant opportunities to work in a global environment and enhance your expertise and career. ・You can gain broad experience overseeing the entire value chain of a pharmaceutical company, from R&D to business strategy.  応募資格／Qualifications 求める経験： 【必須】 ・企業、特許事務所または特許庁における特許実務経験（5年以上） ・生成AIやITツールを知財業務に活用した経験、または活用への強い意欲 【歓迎】 ・サイエンス分野に関するバックグラウンド、特に化学、薬学、生命科学いずれかの技術分野に関するバックグラウンド ・製薬企業での知財業務経験 ・低分子、抗体、中分子（環状ペプチドなど）、新規モダリティ（遺伝子治療など）の医薬品に関わる知財業務経験 ・特許ポートフォリオマネジメントの経験 ・特許調査・分析（特にFTO調査）の経験 ・ライセンスや共同研究等の契約関連業務の経験 ・特許紛争・訴訟対応の経験 Desired Experience: 【Required】 ・At least 5 years of experience in patent practice (filing and prosecution) at a company, patent firm, or a patent office. ・Experience in or strong willingness to utilize generative AI and IT tools for IP operations. 【Preferred】 ・Background in a scientific field, especially in a technical field such as chemistry, pharmacy, or life sciences. ・Experience in IP operations at a pharmaceutical company. ・Experience in IP operations involving pharmaceuticals such as small molecules, antibodies, middle molecules (e.g., cyclic peptides), and new modalities (e.g., gene therapy). ・Experience in patent portfolio management. ・Experience in patent searches and analysis (especially FTO searches). ・Experience in contract-related work such as licensing or collaborative research. ・Experience in patent disputes and litigation. 求めるスキル・知識・能力： ・知的財産法に関する知識と実務への応用力 ・科学技術、特に担当技術領域に関する深い理解 ・論理的思考力、分析力、および課題解決能力 ・部内外の関係者と円滑・積極的に連携可能なコミュニケーション能力 Desired Skills/Knowledge/Abilities： ・Knowledge of intellectual property law and the ability to apply it in practice. ・Deep understanding of science and technology, especially in the assigned technical area. ・Logical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills ・Strong communication skills for effective and proactive collaboration with parties both inside and outside the department. 求める行動特性： ・研究者、事業部門、国内外のグループ会社など、多様な関係者を巻き込み、協働して課題解決を推進する姿勢 ・困難な課題に対しても粘り強く、当事者意識と責任感をもって成果創出にコミットする姿勢 ・現状のやり方にとらわれず、生成AI等の新しい技術を積極的に学び、業務プロセスの変革に挑戦する意欲 Desired Competencies: ・A proactive attitude toward problem-solving by involving and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, such as researchers, business divisions, and group companies in Japan and overseas. ・A commitment to achieving results with a sense of ownership and responsibility, persevering even in the face of difficult challenges. ・A willingness to challenge the transformation of business processes by actively learning new technologies like generative AI, without being confined to current methods. 求める資格： ・英語でのコミュニケーション能力（TOEIC750点以上） ・弁理士、弁護士または知的財産管理技能士１級の資格があればなおよし Desired Qualifications: ・Capability to communicate in English [at least score 750 in TOEIC estimation] ・Qualified patent attorney, attorney at law, or 1st grade certified specialist of IP management is preferable   待遇／Salary & Benefits 当社規定により優遇いたします。 To be decided in accordance with our criteria. 労働条件の通知は電子ファイルによって行います。 ご応募される場合は、その点につきご了承ください。 フレックスタイム制（コアタイムなし） Flextime system The notification of working conditions will be made in an electronic file.
