This position we are hiring for will maximize the potential of Systems Engineering (SE) across Olympus worldwide, aiming to improve patient safety, quality, time-to-market, and development efficiency. ■Responsibilities In integrating Systems Engineering globally, you will analyze the ideal state and current situation, develop, propose, and implement strategies to bridge any gaps. Specific responsibilities include: ・Harmonizing global Systems Engineering approaches, organizations, processes, and tools. ・Designing and driving a global transformation process to properly leverage Systems Engineering within the organization. ・Incorporating Systems Engineering principles into global development processes (both product development and pre-product technology development processes) ・Defining and selecting related IT functions as part of the digitalization roadmap for the R&D organization ・Continuously improving Systems Engineering methods and enhancing stakeholder capabilities in Systems Engineering ・Facilitating collaboration among Systems Engineering stakeholders in various regions ■Attractiveness of this position ・You will be engaged in a large-scale work spanning globally. ・You will be able to contribute significantly to Olympus’ transformation by utilizing your experiences, as Systems Engineering at Olympus is still in the developing stage. ・You will be able to work with a broad perspective, taking a bird’s-eye view of projects across different regions to find optimal solutions. ■Expectations for Post-Hiring　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　 Initially, the global position will start with one person. You are expected to propose and establish the necessary structure and personnel required to promote the global harmonization and continuous improvement of Systems Engineering, gradually adding needed personnel and setting up a new organization.
