プライバシーマネージャー/Privacy Manager

職務内容/Job duties 【Overview】

Our goal is to integrate data privacy protection into everyday operations, which is why we have established a dedicated Privacy Team.

The Privacy Team in Japan is one of the five regional teams within Olympus' Global Privacy Organization, under the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) framework. The Japan team identifies privacy risks in business projects and initiatives, working diligently to implement mitigation strategies. They monitor Japan’s data privacy laws, develop and implement applicable policies, SOPs, and templates, and design and deliver training and communication initiatives to ensure proper handling of personal data. In collaboration with the global team, the Japan team also offers region-specific privacy guidance and supports global privacy efforts.

As the Privacy Manager, you will serve as the key contact for privacy-related matters, providing expert advice, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and executing privacy-related activities. This includes delivering training, running privacy awareness campaigns, developing and managing privacy tools and resources, providing privacy compliance advice, and reporting on progress toward goals.

【Job Description】

Your main tasks will be split as follows: planning and collaboration with other departments,training,data management, and incident response.

- Act as a privacy compliance expert, advising related departments and executing privacy-related tasks
- Report to the Privacy Officer
- Develop and manage data inventories and Records of Processing Activities (ROPAs)
- Conduct and support privacy assessments in relevant departments
- Assist with risk evaluations and report generation
- Manage and respond to incidents
- Plan and execute training sessions and privacy awareness campaigns
- Analyze the latest laws, rules, and regulations
- Plan and implement continuous process optimization
- Serve as the point of contact for privacy-related inquiries from relevant departments
- Support the initiation of related operational privacy tasks alongside your duties
- Monitor the penetration of privacy compliance measures and plan initiatives to address any gaps
- Collaborate and share information with global teams

応募資格/Qualifications 【Required Qualifications】
- Over 8 years of professional experience
- At least 3 years of experience in privacy planning and operations within the privacy or legal fields
- Knowledge of Japan's privacy laws
- Business-level English proficiency, including speaking
- Experience working with multiple countries

【Preferred Qualifications】
- Experience with GDPR
- Certifications such as CIPM or CIPP
- Experience in the healthcare industry
- Knowledge of information security
- Experience using privacy management software

待遇/Salary & Benefits 【雇用形態】
正社員(試用期間3ヶ月:待遇の変更はなし)

【勤務時間】
8:45〜17:30 (休憩:昼45分)
 標準労働時間8時間

※時短勤務制度あり
※テレワーク勤務あり・時間外労働あり

・時間外労働(平均残業時間):0〜20時間程度/月
・在宅勤務:週3〜4日程度 (出社の場合でも基本的に新宿メイン、イベントなどがある際に八王子出社)

・休日  :土日祝、年末年始、GW、夏期休暇
・年間休日:129日(自社カレンダーに応ず)

【想定年収・手当】
1,100万円〜1,400万円
※想定年収については、目安です。ご経験やスキルに応じて当社の処遇基準にて決定いたします。
