【PURPOSE/SUMMARY】
The Transformation Change Leader for Operations (CMSO) in Olympus will play a pivotal role in driving operational transformation and change management initiatives across the organization. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing change management strategies, fostering effective communication, and ensuring alignment between operational teams and business stakeholders. You will lead and influence cross-functional teams, ensuring successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and organizational changes. This role requires a deep understanding of operations, change management methodologies, and communication strategies at the global level to manage and guide complex transformations effectively.
【PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES】
Operations (CMSO) Change Management Strategy Development:
・Accountable for developing and executing comprehensive change management strategies that align with operational (CMSO) goals and drive successful adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies.
・Responsible for ensuring that change management initiatives are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives, ensuring operational excellence and seamless transitions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment:
・Accountable for identifying and managing key stakeholders across global operations, ensuring alignment and engagement at all levels of the organization.
・Responsible for building strong relationships with senior leaders, functional teams, and other stakeholders to ensure their buy-in and commitment to change initiatives.
Change & Communication Leadership & Execution:
・Accountable and Responsible for leading change and communications efforts in assigned global transformation projects
・Accountable for developing and executing high-impact communication plans to support the change agenda, ensuring consistent and clear messaging across various audiences (executive leadership, employees, external stakeholders).
・Responsible for managing the creation and dissemination of internal and external communications related to operational changes, ensuring that messages are clear, timely, and tailored to different audiences.
・Responsible for to assign tasks and monitor execution of staff members (direct and indirect reporting lines)
Employee Adoption & Training:
・Accountable for ensuring successful employee adoption of new processes, technologies, and operational changes through targeted communication and training programs.
・Responsible for collaborating with HR, learning, and development teams to design and deliver training programs that build employee capabilities and enable effective change adoption.
Change Impact Analysis & Risk Management:
・Accountable for conducting comprehensive change impact assessments, identifying potential resistance points, and creating mitigation plans to address these challenges.
・Responsible for proactively managing risks associated with operational changes, ensuring minimal disruption to business continuity and identifying opportunities to address resistance and drive engagement.
Continuous Improvement & Feedback Loop:
・Accountable for ensuring the continuous improvement of change management processes, leveraging feedback from employees, leaders, and other stakeholders to refine strategies and enhance the effectiveness of communication efforts.
・Responsible for monitoring the success of change initiatives and adjusting tactics as needed to ensure maximum engagement and positive outcomes.
Measurement & Reporting:
・Accountable for establishing metrics and KPIs to measure the success of change management and communication initiatives, tracking progress, and reporting results to senior leadership in operations (CMSO).
・Responsible for providing regular updates on the status of change initiatives, including the effectiveness of communication strategies and overall adoption rates.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
・Accountable for collaborating closely with Operations, IT, HR, and other functional teams to ensure change initiatives are integrated into operational processes and fully supported throughout the implementation phase.
・Responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the operational transformation are communicated and managed holistically, fostering collaboration and alignment across functions.
Leadership and Team Development:
・Accountable for leading and mentoring a team of change management and communications professionals, ensuring they are equipped with the tools, training, and support needed to execute change initiatives effectively.
・Responsible for fostering a high-performance culture, guiding team members in the development of their skills, and ensuring continuous improvement in the change management and communications practices.
Advisory Role to Leadership within CMSO (Operations) :
・Accountable for serving as a senior advisor to leadership on best practices for change management and communication strategies, offering expert guidance to ensure the smooth and effective execution of operational changes.
・Responsible for influencing and advising senior leaders on the impact of changes and ensuring that the right messages are communicated to both internal and external stakeholders.

応募資格/Qualifications |
【MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS】
・Master’s degree in a relevant subject or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education and/ or training
・10+ years of experience in program management and/or change management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing large-scale transformations.
・Strong knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci, Kotter’s 8-Step Process)
・Proven ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders, providing strategic direction while managing the details of program execution.
・Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration.
・Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage risks and resolve issues in real time.
・Strong track record of implementing change management across regions in digital transformation projects (e.g., SAP S/4)
・Strong negotiation skills at the stakeholder level
・Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities
・Fluent business English and Japanese
・Ability and willingness to travel when needed

・People manager duties of approx. max 3-5 people
