Communications Manager

職務内容/Job duties (雇入れ直後 / Immediately after hiring)

【PURPOSE/SUMMARY】
・Managing communications for digital transformation in CMSO (e.g. SAP S/4 transformation) for employees in factories and stakeholders in Japan and global.
・The communications lead should own the narrative (case for change), key messages, the communications plan and train players on communications needs
・Proper communication structures fit for the manufacturing space should be established in the exploration phase to enable proper change communication throughout realization and deployment.

【PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES】
・You oversee company-wide communications in manufacturing (ca. 8,000 employees globally).
・In that capacity, you will lead change communications in an upcoming ERP project in our MBC landscape.
・You establish solid communication structures in manufacturing that closely align with the ERP project team and functional practice owners.
・You enable a strong change story highlighting corporate and individual opportunities. Ensure understanding of why changes apply and which opportunities come with them.
・You orchestrate the change communication across several sites (strong focus on Japan) and other international sites.
・You layout and oversee the communications plan and enable program stakeholders to drive the change communication.
・You govern and own narrative adoption and KPIs, and adapt communications needs in strong alignment with the change management lead and the larger project team.
・Apply risk management and mitigate threats along the journey, ensuring program and company success according to strategic outlines and KPI frameworks.

応募資格/Qualifications 【COMPETENCIES】
■Leads and acts according to Our Core Values
■Is an experienced communications expert with a deep understanding of strategy and change communications
■Ability to deal with complex cross-cultural and cross-regional environments.
■Ideally familiar with M365 Suite and state-of-the-art global communications landscapes, tactics, and engagement drivers, special blue-color communication needs (Gemba activity, visualization & simplification, feedback loops etc.)
■Previous manufacturing-related tasks or projects advantageous
■Demonstrates Olympus’ Leadership Competencies specific to the function:
・Conversion of business strategies into communications needs
・Build a strong rationale for communications strategy proposals to respective goals
・Drive activity with impact, leveraging existing data pools and clearly defining KPIs
・In your lateral leadership, you create a collaborative atmosphere across application areas
・You actively seek feedback and adapt behaviours’ and approaches according to situational needs

【MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS】
Education*:
・Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or similar subjects required
・Master’s Degree a plus

xperience*:
・A minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in communications, ideally in a cross-cultural global environment required
・Familiarity with healthcare and the manufacturing landscape and its specific communications needs
・Proven expertise in strategic and change communication, digital transformations
・Ability to develop communications in a highly matrixed organization set-up

Skills:
・Bilingual in both English and Japanese
・Highly strategic thinker, ability to cope and deal with complexity
・Cross-cultural understanding, change management capability, remote/lateral leadership
・Ability to mitigate conflicting views and lead for solutions
・Ability to drive decision making and create impact

待遇/Salary & Benefits 【雇用形態】
正社員(試用期間3ヶ月:待遇の変更はなし)

【勤務時間】
8:45〜17:30 (休憩:昼45分)
 標準労働時間8時間

※フレックスタイム制度あり/コアタイム無し(管理職採用の場合対象外)
※時短勤務制度あり
※テレワーク勤務あり・時間外労働あり

・休日  :土日祝、年末年始、GW、夏期休暇
・年間休日:129日(自社カレンダーに応ず)
・有給休暇:20日間の年次有給休暇を付与。
※入社初年度は入社月にて変動します(最大20日)
