¡ÚWhat is this position about?¡Û
The Itako Plant in Ibaraki is a key site within Valeo Japan, mass-producing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) products.
This position serves as the Site HR Manager (Plant HR Head) for the Itako Plant, playing a central role in supporting plant operations from a ¡Èpeople¡É perspective, including HR systems, labor relations, recruitment, engagement, and visa support.
This role goes beyond routine HR operations and requires a proactive, strategic HR approach, such as:
- Acting as a true business partner to plant management and working closely
- Listening to employees¡Ç voices and linking them to engagement initiatives and career development
- Understanding Valeo¡Çs production and people management philosophy (V5000) and embedding it within the Itako Plant

In particular, visa procedures, VIE/intern management, and improving recruitment speed are key focus areas. The role strongly values not only HR expertise but also the ability to anticipate needs, understand stakeholders¡Ç perspectives, and act one step ahead.

¡ÚKey Responsibilities¡Û
¡ýLeading the Plant HR Business Partner Function
- Serve as the HR partner to the Site General Manager and plant management team, supporting business operations
- Identify HR issues at the plant and lead the planning and execution of improvement initiatives
- Anticipate and address HR impacts related to organizational transformation and new product launches

¡ýRecruitment, Talent Mobility, and Visa Support
- Drive recruitment activities at the plant (permanent employees, temporary staff, VIEs, interns, etc.)
- Ensure fast and reliable processes for visa acquisition and renewal for foreign employees
- Strengthen collaboration with internal departments and external organizations to prevent offer declines and onboarding delays

¡ýEmployee Engagement and Career Development
- Capture employee feedback and reflect it in engagement and career support initiatives
- Plan and execute measures to maintain and enhance high levels of employee engagement
- Support evaluation, development, and feedback in collaboration with line managers

¡ýLabor Relations, Compliance, and Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, including the Labor Standards Act
- Manage safety, health, and working conditions in cooperation with the HSE Manager
- Promote health checkups, work fitness management, and workstyle improvements

- Manage and develop the HR team
