Location: Tsukuba Technical Center 【Division and Products】 Valeo Japan is composed of four divisions: 　１）Power Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions related to thermal management, comfort, and electric powertrains to accelerate electrification. 　２）BRAIN Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions to accelerate ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and reimagine interior experiences. 　３）Light Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions for lighting everywhere. 　４）Valeo Service Division ： Provides after-sales services for all products from Divisions 1-3. This position is within the BRAIN Division. 【Mission】 Your mission is to lead and manage a team of test engineers and technicians, delivering high-quality products to market by standardizing development processes and continuously enhancing technical capabilities. 【Key Responsibilities】 1. People Management (Organizational Leadership) - Evaluate engineers and technicians, set goals, and support their career development - Plan and implement training programs to enhance team skills - Assign appropriate resources to projects and lead recruitment activities 2. Process & Methodology Standardization and Improvement - Introduce and enforce the latest engineering processes and tools (e.g., 5 Axes methodology) - Plan and execute initiatives to improve operational efficiency - Promote standardization based on the “RAISE” criteria and ensure robust design 3. Budget Management - Develop and manage the team budget - Optimize cost efficiency 【Why This Role Is Exciting】 1. Lead the Launch of a “LiDAR Hub” in Japan This position is part of the initial build-up of the LiDAR organization in Japan. Become a Specialist in Global-Standard Development Processes You will implement and optimize global engineering standards and proprietary methodologies (such as 5 Axes and RAISE) at the local level.
